Festival Performers' Information

The Surry Hills Festival will be taking on a temporary new look for 2010, while its permanent home, Prince Alfred Park, is having a facelift. Surry Hills Festival 2010, a picnic in the parks, will spread its entertainment stages through the parks and green spaces surrounding Crown Street, Surry Hills.

Think intimate, picnic style, relaxed vibe ...

Nevertheless, the Festival will continue its tradition of hosting a diverse range of musical styles: acoustic, jazz, rock, indie, folk, dance and world, with stages in Ward Park and Shannon Reserve.

If you are a solo performer or in a band and would like to apply to perform at the 2010 Surry Hills Festival, please send us your MySpace link or other URL or demo CD with a short bio. Remember to include your contact details as well (email, website address and telephone number).

As this is a day for everyone, the young and young at heart, children's and roving performers are most welcome to apply.

The deadline to send in your application to perform at the Festival is 31 January 2010. As the Surry Hills Festival is a fundraiser for the services of the Surry Hill Neighbourhood Centre, performers and bands volunteer their talents and energy and as a result contribute to making the Festival both a premier Sydney event and a successful fundraiser.
