Playgroup

Playgroup is a time when parents, grandparents and children come together to play and socialise with other parents and children. It's not childcare - parents/carers are responsible for looking after their own children.

Surry Hills Neighbourhood Centre partners with two different groups to provide playgroup services to the families of Surry Hills and surrounds: Save the Children Mobile Play Bus, and Gamarada Playgroup.

Save the Children Playgroup

Save the Children aims to provide an inclusive environment for children and families to interact. Staff help facilitate family/carer and child interactions. We offer educational equipment, activities which stimulate children's development, and promote literacy through book readings and songs. We also provide morning and afternoon tea, and a wonderful chance to meet new friends, share experiences, and have fun.

When: Mondays 1 - 2.30pm, except Public Holidays and school holidays

Where: Function Room, Level 1, Surry Hills Neighbourhood Centre, 405 Crown Street, Surry Hills

Age: 0-5 year olds

Cost: Free of charge!
